WordPress "author" role capabilities

The WordPress Author role is the standard role that incorporates Contributor role permissions and also allows users to publish their own posts. It also allows users to delete their own posts that already are published.

This is the ideal base policy for any user that needs to have the ability to create and manage their own content.
